Trevor's week in review

So here we go. This week was Trevor's art camp entitled "Green and Growing". The first picture is Trevor's work of art from that Monday class. If you can't see it very well, he drew a picture of a pine tree with icky stuff on it. According to him. Based on this first art project, I thought that most of the art projects would be drawings incorporating some kind of outdoor item. This one is the helicopter seeds you can see on the outside of the picture.

Second day was this cute little guy. He is still growing. He is a pantyhose with dirt and seeds in the head, a rubber band tied around the neck and the rest of the hose is supposed to be in water. Although the teacher told us she accidentally used non-silk hose so it doesn't wick like it is supposed to. Instead we have to mist or in my case run water over the head in order to wet it down. And in a few days, the grass seeds sprout and the little guy has hair. So a chia-pet type thing.

The next day he came out with this hat on, carrying a bag, saying "Surprise". It was a very cute party hat with little stickers of bugs on them.

In the bag was this very cute lady bug having a picnic. She is having a picnic with pie, blueberries, cheese, and a hamburger. I think.

Next is a cute worm habitat. Everything is glued down except the worms. For the past few days he has had the worms eat lunch with him. He gets a sandwich and the worms get goldfish. Who knew worms liked goldfish?

And last but not least is a butterfly on a tube. Gwen enjoys the breeze as well. So that was it for week number one. If the rest of the weeks go as well, it will be a VERY successful summer! He has one other art class, but this one is called "Dinosaur Adventure". It has something to do with Dinosaurs and being an archaeologist. Next week is preschool vacation bible school. Lots of kids he knows will be in it, so if he can stay on task, he should have a good time!
