The proof is in the playgroup

So Tuesday, there was a playgroup at Trevor's friend Julie's house. I had a talk with him prior to arriving at the house making sure he knew that he needed to be nice to his friends. It was a big turnout and Trevor did very well. He has also really enjoyed when kids are around vs. being by himself playing on playground type equipment. I saw him running around the slide, like in a race.

Gwen decided to fall asleep on me (good thing, because it was downright CHILLY that morning) for almost the entire time. So she was well entertained that morning. But Trevor simply played and played with his friends. Another thing that I was surprised about was the fact that he stayed away from all the riding/vehicle toys. He just wanted to swing or slide or play around.

My point in all this was simply the fact that without preschool he never would have done this well. Of course because of preschool I was also a little nervous about Trevor and his friend Sam. They had been a little confrontational lately. But after a few minutes of warming up...they did great! It was so nice to see.

So parks, and other places where there are a lot of kids are now pretty open to play for Trevor now. And it makes it so a mom doesn't have to worry. Thankfully! YAY!
