We had a nice Memorial Weekend

Did you? We spent the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning at the lake. Trevor was on-the-go the entire time. Throwing rocks in the lake, spraying the flowers with the hose, going for a walk/bike ride, and he even got out to play golf at the local golf course. I'd say he was pretty much recovered from his cold.

Gwen did really well for having a cold herself. It was mostly just a coughing thing that happened when she was laying down. She was never "up" in the middle of the night but she had a few coughing fits. And it would sometimes wake her up from her naps. But she did have a great time with her cousins. She loved to look at Ellie and Addison. Megan got some great pictures. I'll have to post them when I remember to get our own pictures off the camera.

And Trevor always has a great time with Ellie and JJ. If the darn weather gets nice, I bet they will have a blast playing in the lake this year. Or at least go on a boat ride.

So we came back on Sunday in order to go to the local parade here. It is perfect for Trevor's age. They had a few fire trucks, some police, Kennedy High's Marching Band, Boy and Girl Scouts, and a little old time car parade. It lasted about 20 minutes, if that. He also got his bag full of candy which mostly ends up in the trash. Thankfully this year as he came down with HORRIBLE diarrhea in the middle of the night Sunday night. But he's back to normal today. I'm glad we didn't have to deal with it at the lake.

And now we are on week one of summer vacation. No big plans until week 3 when the activities start. So if the darn weather is good, we'll be outside and maybe at a park or two. We'll see how Gwen does napping.
